Perception

I said to my friend,

     "It's cold and wet outside."

     "Better than no weather at all," he responded.

And, he was right.  

Better to feel the sharp edge of the brisk air,

         

          and the damp harshness of the cold rain . . . 

           

                   than to feel nothing at all.
